An exclusive insider with the King of mountain trails in Morzine. He has been shredding the trails for 20 years and we thought it was time that we told the world the secret to his fearless, jaw-dropping rides!

On a recent trip to Morzine for research our calendars here the Way Down happened to overlap with that of the Morzine mountain king. He is known throughout the community of the downhill bikers for only taking on the toughest slopes and the knurliest (Bumpiest) jump parks.

Not much is known about his early life, only that he burst onto the scene in his 20s with a bang. In his first competition he set the record for the Morzine urban track and then came second in the fresh rider category of the main slope. The next year, having moved out of the fresh rider category, he proceeded to win best in class for all his events and qualified for next years big leagues. No one saw him after that until he appeared for the day of the race. He then proceeded to win and vanish again and to this day people clamber for a photo with him when he appears in the area
